Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort is a combination hostel, campground, and mountain retreat, located an hour outside Yosemite National Park. The resort is located in a hillside setting surrounded by woods and mountains, along the Central Yosemite Highway. The resort offers a messhall-style June Bug café with vegan and vegetarian options, a tranquil wood-paneled yoga studio, massage rooms, a hot-rock sauna, and a spring-fed stainless steel hot tub overlooking the valley. Dining options include the June Bug Café, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with local ingredients. The cafe features a menu of American comfort foods, vegan cuisine, and vegetarian cuisine, hormone and antibiotic free meats, cage free eggs, and organic grains. Safety features include a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, and a first aid kit. The Yosemite Valley Shuttle stops in front of the resort.

The resort offers a variety of accommodations ranging from dorm bunks to private cabins. Private cabins feature luxurious brass beds, antique furniture, and quirky artwork. Superior Rooms offer various bed types at 300sf. Standard Rooms are smaller at 190sf. Duplex cabins (250 to 300 sf each) have forest views, decks, tables, and chairs. Tent cabins include electricity, screens, linens, decks, and log furniture. Glamping-style heated/cooled insulated tent cabins have additional interior walls and decks. Youth hostel dormitories include steel beds, lockers, and linens. 6-bunk coed dorms share two baths, two showers, and a sink bank. Male and Female dorms have 3 bunks each with a private bathroom. All guestrooms offer free WiFi.
